On the morning of August 25, university leaders, along with department heads, conducted comprehensive inspections across all campuses to ensure that everything was in place for the new semester.

At the East and West Buildings on the West Campus, Party Secretary Yang Wei visited classrooms to check on student attendance, engagement, and the quality of teaching. She also examined classroom facilities and visited the multimedia control room for a full overview of the teaching environment. Yang Wei stressed the importance of effective classroom management and maintaining a focused, productive learning atmosphere throughout the semester.

At Mingjun Building on the West Campus, President Academician Song Baoan visited classrooms to observe lessons, taking notes as he watched. He was pleased to see students actively participating in discussions and taking detailed notes, while teachers were well-prepared and energetic. The lessons were clear and accessible, even when covering complex topics. President Song remarked, “Undergraduate education and the cultivation of moral values are long-term commitments. We must stay focused on these goals. Colleges should guide both students and faculty to develop good habits and prioritize physical exercise as an essential part of the undergraduate experience.”

Later that morning, university leaders continued their inspections across the campuses, focusing on ensuring a safe and smooth start to the semester. The inspection teams checked preparations in logistics, security, and infrastructure for the arrival of new students. They worked to ensure that campus services were functioning smoothly and efficiently, creating a safe, welcoming environment for both students and staff.
