Recently, The Journal of Guizhou University (Social Sciences Edition) has been listed in the Extended Edition of the CSSCI for 2025–2026, as announced by the Chinese Social Science Research Evaluation Center at Nanjing University.
Founded in 1974, the Journal of Guizhou University (Social Sciences Edition) is a comprehensive academic journal sponsored by Guizhou University. In recent years, the university has prioritized journal development, enhancing the academic quality and influence with the support of scholars, authors, and readers. The journal has also received multiple national and provincial recognitions for its academic standing and impact, including AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Science Journals (A-Extended Edition), RCCSE China Core Academic Journals (A), Important Reprint Source Journal of Reprinted Newspapers and Periodicals, National Core Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences in Higher Education, and a Key Cultivation Journal of Guizhou Province.
Its inclusion in the CSSCI Extended Edition not only affirms the progress achieved, particularly in recent years, but also provides momentum for its continued development.
