On July 3, the internal review meeting themed "Intelligent Mining · Precision Shaping the Future" was held at Guizhou University. The meeting focused on two key agendas: the release of GZU’s achievements in “Precise Exploitation of Mineral Resources” and industry-academia collaboration matchmaking. Attendees of the meeting included Professor He Lin, senior university administrator (holding the Zhengting-level administrative rank); Jiang Wei, Secretary-General of Guiyang Intellectual Property Association, Senior Engineer, and Head of Jiang Wei, Secretary-General of Guiyang Intellectual Property Association, Senior Engineer, and Head of both Guizhou High-Value Patent Cultivation Center and Intellectual Property Operation Organization; as well as experts from GZU’s College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, College of Mining, and College of Materials and Metallurgy. The meeting was chaired by Wang Aihua, Director of the Science Park.

At the meeting, project teams from GZU’s College of Mining and College of Materials and Metallurgy delivered presentations on their achievements. Their sharing focused on four key aspects: the technical advantages of their research results, the existing foundations for industry-academia collaboration, solutions to core challenges faced by enterprises in the sector, and difficulties encountered in promoting the industrialization of related technologies. In response, the participating experts offered targeted suggestions. These suggestions were put forward based on in-depth analysis of industry development trends, the technical feasibility of the achievements, market application prospects, and potential business models for technology transformation.

Professor He Lin emphasized that the research efforts should be rooted in the present while looking toward the future, with the goal of unlocking more valuable scientific outcomes. He urged the project teams to carefully take into account the expert opinions, refine their strategies for promoting research achievements, and further enhance the practical applicability of their technologies. He also pointed out that the value of scientific research achievements must ultimately be verified by the market and enterprises. To this end, Professor He advised the teams to accurately address the pain points of the industry, innovate models for transforming research results into practical applications, and deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research from the perspective of meeting industrial development needs.
