The ceremony was witnessed by Li Jianjun, Kong Xiangzhu, Xie Tiankai, Zhang Jie, Chen Xiangsheng, and Chen Yanbo.

Donor representatives expressed their hopes and commitments. Ding Ping’an stated that the “Wanshun Student Aid Fund”, established by Jiangsu Wanshun Electromechanical Group, is intended to support students in agriculture-related majors at GZU, helping them pursue their studies and chase their dreams. He expressed the hope that the benefited students will give back to society and the country, and carry forward the spirit of public welfare. He noted that the group will continue to support the development of education and remain committed to playing a leading role in cultivating scientific and technological talent and promoting rural revitalization.

Liu Zhigang reflected on his longstanding connection with GZU, noting that the establishment of the “Yunzhi Scholarship Fund” at the alma mater aims to support academically outstanding students in computer science who face financial difficulties. The goal is to help outstanding students better focus on their studies, enhance their competitiveness in the field, broaden their global perspectives, and strengthen their professional competence.

Pan Xubo remarked that the contributions from the Chi Wah Foundation are intended to support students facing financial challenges in their academic journeys. He expressed hope for continued collaboration with GZU in jointly advancing educational innovation and cultivating talent with both integrity and ability. He encouraged GZU students to press forward with determination, to shape their lives with wisdom, and to serve the nation and the world with their talents.

Liang Wenbing noted that the scholarship program jointly established by BYD and GZU represents not only material support, but also a source of encouragement for students to pursue knowledge and realize their dreams. He urged students to dedicate themselves to their academic pursuits, leverage technological innovation, and strive to make meaningful contributions to social progress.

In her speech, Yang Wei emphasized that every act of giving back by alumni represents the continued legacy of the GZU spirit; every contribution from enterprises strengthens the backbone of social progress; and every joint effort by charitable foundations helps sow the seeds of love and kindness. She described the donations as a powerful relay of educational goodwill, where diverse forces converge across distances to compose a moving symphony of education, science, and philanthropy in central Guizhou. Noting the occasion’s timing during graduation season, she remarked that the donations not only serve as a vivid “lesson in character education” but also embody the idea that “education is a shared endeavor of the entire society.” Yang pledged that GZU would adopt an even more open and inclusive approach, transforming each act of generosity into a driving force for nurturing future generations and continuing to write heartwarming new chapters in the university’s journey of educational development.
